Why do I love what I do? Simple. I love taking moments in time and freezing them for future generations to look back. When I was a little girl, my grandmother was always taking pictures and would frequently hand the camera over to me to have me take pictures. As I got a little older, my mother had me in modeling. In a nutshell, I was always in front of a camera or behind the camera of things and people I love.
In roughly 2004 I was one of the lead photographers at sears portrait studio's at the mall of america (natural progression right??). I loved it so much, everything from the people I worked with and the people I did my portrait sessions for. After leaving, I always wanted to go back to that again, be behind the camera. The only other job that I have had this much passion for is working with individuals with mental and physical disabilities.
I am now a mother of 3 kids, 1 boy and 2 girls. They are my world! My husband Rene and I have been together sense 2000. High school sweethearts, we have been each others support. In 2016 Rene bought me my first camera as a Christmas gift, and off I ran. When I had my 3rd child in 2017, I have not looked back. I find in more important now than ever to capture the little moments for my kids and eventually grandchildren to look back on. I am more in love with photography
